WPE-506 is a high-performance Shunt Mode Force Sensing Resistor (FSR) .
FSR's are constructed from multilayer flexible polymers. Through complex circuit design and process fabrication, we can get FSR products with excellent performance.
When a force is applied to the device the layers come into contact and a circuit is completed. As more force is applied resistance drops and more current flows.
